How We Are Different

Estate Planning That Puts Family First

At The Legacy Planners P.C., estate planning isn’t just about legal documents, it’s about the people you love and the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

As a Personal Family Lawyer®, I use a heart-centered, family-focused approach to help you make thoughtful decisions with clarity and confidence. I take the time to understand your relationships, your values, and your assets, often uncovering more than you realize, making sure your plan truly reflects you.

Treated Like Family

It is my personal policy to treat every client the way I would want my own parents treated during these important family decisions: with patience, compassion, honesty, and respect. These conversations can feel emotional and overwhelming, and you deserve to feel supported, heard, and cared for at every step.

More Than a Will or a Trust

We call our process Life & Legacy Planning because we go far beyond choosing documents. We look at what would happen if the state made decisions for your family or how your current plan might work. Then, we design a plan that keeps your loved ones out of court, out of conflict, and protected when it matters most.

This clarity allows you to move forward with peace of mind, knowing your wishes are clear and your family is prepared.

Guidance Today. Protection Tomorrow.

Our relationship doesn’t end when your documents are signed. We will guide you now and also be there for your loved ones when you can’t, helping them navigate one of the most impactful moments of their lives with care and confidence.

We proudly serve families across Massachusetts and Rhode Island with clear communication, flat-fee pricing, and a gentle, supportive process designed to feel empowering, not intimidating.

Your legacy deserves thoughtful care.

Lauren J. Caisse, Esq.

I grew up in Foxborough, Massachusetts and made North Attleboro my home in 2000 where I raised my three children. I’m a proud mom to Courtney, Alexandra, and Zachary. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog Raven, getting lost in a good book, tackling home improvement projects, and making the most of every adventure with my children.

You want guidance that is knowledgeable, compassionate, and deeply personal.
That is how I approach my work.

For more than 20 years, I have dedicated my legal career to helping individuals and families create clarity, peace of mind, and a legacy that truly reflects their values. As a trained Personal Family Lawyer®, my work is rooted in patience, compassion, and the same loving respect I would extend to my own family.

At the heart of my practice is Life & Legacy Planning.
This warm, intentional process helps you plan for your family dynamics, evaluate and organize your assets, and compare your wishes with the state’s default plan for your loved ones. By clearly seeing your legal and financial reality, you gain the confidence to make informed decisions that protect the people you love and honor the life you’ve built.

Estate planning is about more than documents.
It isn’t simply choosing between a will or a trust. It’s about taking control of your future, preserving harmony for your family, and ensuring your legacy is carried forward exactly as you intend.

I will guide you through each step with care and clarity. When the time comes, I will be here for your loved ones when you cannot be, supporting them during one of the most impactful moments of their lives.

My mission is simple and heartfelt:
To help families stay out of court and conflict, and to create lives worth living and legacies worth leaving.

As your trusted advisor, I blend legal knowledge with approachability, heartfelt support, and a deep commitment to serving you and your family with respect, dignity, and care.

This background allows me to advise families with a rare blend of legal precision, practical insight, and empathy.

This strong foundation in both law and business supports my holistic approach to helping families, individuals, and business owners plan with clarity and confidence.

Laurie Clarkin

Client Services Director

Laurie was born and raised in Foxborough, Massachusetts. She brings to The Legacy Planners P.C. over 25 years of Paralegal experience, originally working for a Personal Injury Attorney for 16 years, then working for a Real Estate Attorney for the next six. With her years of experience, she brings both professionalism and knowledge to our firm.

When her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, she realized that her passion should be focused more on services relating to the aging community. She saw so many elderly people who needed to be listened to and who needed guidance with the aging process. Working at The Legacy Planners P.C. enables her to be involved with helping people both young and old. As our Client Services Director, she will more than likely be the initial point of contact when you call our office, and will help guide you throughout the process from beginning to end.

Laurie has been married to her husband since 1994 and has two adult daughters that she is very proud of. She loves cats, music, gardening, refinishing furniture, and listening to books. She also loves to vacation in Dennis Port, MA anytime she can!

Tonia Tamul

Marketing Director

Tonia serves as the creative force behind our office, overseeing social media, advertising, and event planning to ensure our message is clear, engaging, and aligned with who we are. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northwood University, where she graduated in 1997.

Originally from Michigan, Tonia relocated to Massachusetts shortly after graduation and has been proud to call it home ever since. She has been married for 22 years and is the proud mom of three teenagers who keep life fast-paced and full, especially with their busy hockey schedules. When she is not developing creative strategies or planning events, you will likely find her at the rink cheering them on.
